Concept

> Hyperbole: exaggeration

> Hyperbola: symmetric curve, in mathematics

An exaggerated peephole for the observation of hyperbola.

Hyperbolic Peephole offers an expanded peephole, a portal to a visual universe which results from the combination of analog and digital processes. A lens produces different types of deformations and spectral decompositions of the light emitted by a screen, seemingly subverting the laws of perspective. As a result, the perception of the artwork is relative to the spectator’s point of view.
